SubExchange
The Substitute Teaching Institute welcomes articles or quotes for the SubExchange. All authors of
printed articles will receive a $50 honorarium. Manuscripts should be approximately 500-1,500 words.

SubJournal
The SubJournal is a professional, academic, peer-reviewed publication. The specifically targeted
audience for the SubJournal includes individuals and organizations that deal with issues germane
to substitute teaching. Articles should not exceed 3,000 words and should use APA format with complete
bibliographic references.

Book Reviews
We welcome book reviews on books (published in the last two years) concerning substitute teaching and
human resource management issues. Reviews should be approximately 250-350 words and contain all relevant
information about the book (title, author, place of publication, press, year, and number of pages).

We also invite publishers to send us review copies of books which we will list on our site as a way of
inviting reviews. As well, we invite reviewers to write to publishers for review copies of books appropriate
